We are looking for a detailed oriented, efficient, and well-organized team member with excellent communication skills to serve as an IT Support Specialist. The hours for this role will be 8-5pm CST M-F.
Job Descriptions
What You’ll Do All Day
- Serve as the first point of contact for our partners seeking technical assistance via phone, e- mail, or our automated ticketing system.
- Diagnose, research, and resolve technical hardware and software issues.
- Effectively communicate ticket status until service ticket is resolved.
- Follow escalation guidelines when working on standard tickets.
- Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention to team lead.
- Provide accurate information on our IT products and services.
- The Service Desk Specialist must maintain the highest possible level of customer-service oriented and be proactive in anticipating and resolving problems while maximizing efficient use of technology resources.
- Perform other related duties as required or assigned.

- Ideal candidates would have an Associate Degree in computer science, information sciences, or have relevant job experience.
- Must have excellent customer service skills, be a team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills, have experience working directly with internal customers, and the ability to work well with others in a team-oriented environment.
- Must be able to perform multiple tasks and jump from one task to another as required, without loss of concentration and composure.
- Must have knowledge of computer hardware, printers, mobile devices, and of Microsoft Operating systems, Microsoft Office products, and other end-user applications.
- 2-5 years’ service desk experience.
- Proficient problem-solving ability.
