The Warehouse Operator/Picker plays a crucial role in the efficient functioning of a warehouse facility. Their primary responsibility is to accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring that all items are correctly identified, counted, and packaged according to company standards. This position demands attention to detail, organization, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Order Picking: Utilize picking lists, hand-held scanners, or other tools to locate and retrieve items
from designated locations within the warehouse. Ensure accuracy in selecting the correct items and
quantities for each order.
- Packing: Carefully pack items into appropriate containers or boxes, taking care to cushion fragile
items and secure packages to prevent damage during transit. Verify that all necessary packing
materials are used and that packages are labeled correctly.
- Quality Control: Conduct visual inspections of items to ensure they meet quality standards before
packing and shipping. Report any damaged or defective items to supervisors for further action.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records by updating stock counts
as items are picked and packed. Communicate any discrepancies or shortages to supervisors
promptly.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including proper handling of
equipment, wearing appropriate protective gear, and maintaining a clean and organized work area.
Report any safety hazards or incidents to supervisors immediately.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other warehouse staff members to achieve daily
production targets and ensure timely order fulfillment. Communicate effectively with supervisors
and colleagues to coordinate tasks and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Equipment Operation: Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand
trucks safely and efficiently, following manufacturer guidelines and company policies. Participate in
training sessions as needed to maintain proficiency in equipment operation.
- Compliance: Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to workplace
